About Knockfarrel Produce
Knockfarrel produce is a small family run organic croft, in the Highlands of Scotland, supplying food direct to local people.
We grow a wide range of fresh veg, plus you can add to your order: free range eggs, fruit (in season), preserves, cordials and pestos. All grown and made on the croft.
Fair prices for farmers and artisan food producers is vital
We pay our suppliers at least 50% of the retail value for any products we buy in, and when dealing with wholesalers, we check to make sure they pay fair prices to their growers.
The benefits of buying local
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
We have been getting boxes delivered for a couple of years now. We always get fast and friendly communication, the produce and products are fantastic. I love supporting local producers and farmers, it creates happiness!
